I did once ,thought it was pretty cool! wondering if anyone else has ever tried. Probably pretty common for the young crowd! How about ordering one from your cell or iphone using an app to choose toppings? Ever done that? Now thats way beyond me. I don't even carry a cell phone , I'm still on landline LOL!

Just interested in seeing how many people utilize these new techy gadgets this way! Some day we might be able to order chinese takeout from a handheld device!

We've done it a couple of times now, it's pretty cool. I was sure I wouldn't get it the way I wanted it, but I did.

Yes, thats easy but do the phone thing  with Kelly the automated Pizza lady. A whole diff. story)Went like this.
Hi my name is Kelly I am an automated Pizza lady, Follow the prompts.
Do you want to order a Pizza today YES
Sorry I can't understand what you said Please say Order Pizza.
      So I say order Pizza.
Would you like Pick up or delivery So I say Pick-up, again she can't understand, not as if we are speaking diff languages, I am being precise with my pronunciation to the point of pain.
When she barks back, I am sorry I will put you on to a Team Member that can help you.
Then I go through the usual, thinking what is the point of this android, except to hold up the Traffic.

Can still show up lukewarm though if they dont use those silver cover thingies. If they're not there in 30 minutes it's still free even when ordering online! I like FREE !

One thing they never thought of when they started to offer online ordering is how much it helps people who are deaf or hard of hearing.

I am actually 90% deaf, which is why I do as much as I can online. Ordering online is so much better than trying to call and hear the person. I use it all the time. smile

I am hard of hearing as well and would love if our town offered this service.

Oh, sure. Order on line, it's better than dealing with the phone guy who can hardly hear you with all the noise.  Been doing that for years, much the best way to get pizza and wings and things like that delivered.

Apparently I wasn't thinking from a deaf persons perspective, when I asked my second question about using iphone bcuz why would a deaf person need a vocal phone.. DUH! my fault or more like DOOOHHH! like homer simpson. Never know might be useful just as a visual system for taking pages or ordering. WOW i can't beleive how dumb that second question was even after you had just told me you were 90 perc deaf! Well enjoy the papa johns !!!

I believe that the military does a great job. I believe they train people to high standards and really give something to the world. I believe women should be in the military in theory and practise. In a perfect world, I would hope that women would choose not to work with weapons at all.

Yet, having the k nowledge may be a great help to those who work to create a better world. Maybe women in the military will help other aspects of the military universe.

Women are good at talking. Negotiation, is talking, discussion is always better than warfare.

I've done it a couple of times myself...it's fun since you can pick what you want and they won't get it wrong in case you mess up on the phone lol

Twuxedo I meant on an app where you point and click with a pointer( no talking or dialing involved ) and choose the toppings from a point and click screen.

app meaning applicatipn not apple itself using an application on an apple iphone  screen or handheld Anyone use that yet!

But yeah thats annoying isn't it ,I hear ya!

No see at top of my reply I sai Yes thats easy, I just can't get the automated one to understand me past Pick up. She speaks with an American accent. Mine is English, so irritating, will do the online in future. Have they got it sorted for extra sauce yet. That was why I was doing the phone thing I like extra sauces.

Hmmm...didn't know that could even be done.  Now, our closest pizza parlor is in Sierra Vista, 25 miles away...we live off grid, several turns on twisty dirt roads covered with Border Patrol vehicles and skittering illegal immigrants after dark...back in the mesquite...about a mile from the border...where even big rig truckers in daylight have to call ahead to be guided in here if we have a heavy shipment that can't be dropped off in town...no outside lights, just a 40 watt lamp here in the camp trailer so I don't ruin my eyes staring at the laptop screen.

Yup.  Ordering online would be the perfect solution.  lol

I do it all the time now; it can be cheaper, and I don't have to vocally talk to someone over the phone.

I have, from Dominos I think it was, It was easier than over the phone, no repeating, and the order was 100% correct.

One cool thing was you could watch the progression of your order from the inital order to when it was in the delivery vehicle, and how soon it would arrive at the door.

The site was only off by about two minutes, very kool>

I love ordering online. Papa John's is my favorite!!! Light cheese, light sauce and pepperoni. YUMMMM That;s my favorite combination of toppings. I really love their crust.

I always get Papa John's regular crust. From other pizza places or when I make my own, I always get thin crust.

My favorite pizza that I make at home is thin crust with greek toppings on my pizza stone (Papa John's can't beat it!) However, they are great to order from when I'm being lazy. smile

Ah, now you got me drooling over your pizza.... smile

I like Papa Jones too, at least the most out of chain pizzas, but I prefer a thin crust. smile
