I finally hit 5000 views, I was trying for it by the end of the year, but I missed, 5000th hit just a bit ago.
Should I be happy or have I been a lazy schulb?
Congrats. 5,000 is a great number. The next thing you knew, you'll hit 10,000 views then 20,000 views.
Be happy...and congrats. I only wish I had more time to do more and receive a small percentage of your number of views. Well done.
Are you talking about 5000 views a day, a month or all time?
Thank you all, just a minor achievement, in the great expanse of the hubbing world.
No Will, not per day, total.
But the major accomplishment in this small little attempt at internet publishing I think is more than 50% are coming from the search engines. Mostly google but also yahoo, bing, ask and some others about 30 different sources, about half of those Google international. So I think its a start.
Sorry I failed to follow up on this post. Things happen.
It wasn't meant to be a mean remark, I was genuinely puzzled. Your hubs are good enough to get a lot more than 5000 views in total. I would really look into keyword research. There are plenty of hubs that will help. Just do a search.

I just wanted to have a tiny celebration at having hit my first milestone, 1,000 page views...It took around 15 hubs, 8 days and a fair bit of promotion to get there, but I'm really pleased.I mainly shared on Google+ and Twitter and also answered questions on the forums here, HupHopped and...

So I was checking my adsense reports and when I go to view the site report for wehavekids.com I only see about 5% of the page views that are showing on my account totals in Hubpages. I thought that there was an adsense ad on every page or am I wrong in thinking this (or just missing something!)?

How many total page views a day is considered good?Is there a number that I should be aiming for?

I have been seeing this for a couple of days. I checked the number of page views at some hour. It was 101. After an hour later, I again checked (probably I am a crazy person looking at hubs every hour), it decreased to 92 ? What is happening?
