Just hit a (mini) milestone - 1,000 page views...

   I just wanted to have a tiny celebration at having hit my first milestone, 1,000 page views...
   
   It took around 15 hubs, 8 days and a fair bit of promotion to get there, but I'm really pleased.
   
   I mainly shared on Google+ and Twitter and also answered questions on the forums here, HupHopped and commented on other's hubs and followed other interesting people. This seems to have paid off with other hubbers coming and checking out my work.
   
   Looking forward to continuing to be a member of this community, and thanks to all my fellow Hubbers for helping me get to 1,000 page views.

         Sony, I'd say that's definitely the case; anything we can do to comment on other's hubs and encourage others can get them to look at our own work.

    I think it took me a month, and I had twice as many hubs, so your performance is great, really impressive!

    Wait, how do you "share" on Google? I am fairly new to Hubpages. All this stuff about search results and stuff is kind of confusing to me. I started several months ago, but so far have only made 7 hubs. Maybe if I make more, I will have 1,000 pages views too!

    Valene, I'm talking about Google+ (the social network). I've built up a good following there and I'm a moderator for a popular small business community, so I get good engagement, comments, shares and clickthroughs on my posts.
    
    If you want to find out more about Google+, there's lots of helpful hubs here and articles elsewhere online.

       Firstly, a warm welcome to HubPages.
       
       I'm off to a reasonable start with monetization and have made a few dollars since starting.  Monetization here is all about getting viewers to your site (since revenue is based on 'CPM' or 'Ad Revenue per Thousand Views'.)

       I have also written a couple of hubs about how to interact with the community and also how to market your website or blog, both of which you might find helpful; they are linked from my profile.
