Hi everyone I found hubpages about a fortnight ago and thought I'd give this challenge a go. I'm quite new to all this though so I'm trying to pick it up as I go on.
It all looks great fun so far and you seem a really friendly bunch.
Good Luck! I have yet the courage to try 30 Hubs in 30 Days, although I do wish to do more then that (I still need to get an idea stream open first)!
Welcome again, and its a great way to start off here!

Hello Thranax
thanks for replying. I don't know if it's courage or I'm just being overly ambitious! - my problem is that I'm on the coast and work long long hours for 7 days a week through the summer season. So I need to try and get as much done now while it's quiet here.
I don't know about you but I watched the news this morning and that gave me 2 ideas for today so I might try that method for awhile.
Not to rain on your parade, but I don't recommend newbies try to meet the challenge first up. You need to learn how to put Hubs together first, otherwise you'll just give yourself a pile of Hubs that you have to go back and edit later, when you realise how much you've done wrong!
Read Darkside's Hubs on how to Hub first.
Hello Dao Hoa and thanks for the welcome - I already do
Hello Marisa thanks for the advice I'm grateful for any help and I can see you've been doing this for quite a long time. I will certainly go and read Darkside's hubs
Welcome and Good luck with your challenge... but remember to write quality content throughout, to ensure that your hard work pays off over the longer term.
I feel obligated to remind people now that the Hub Challenge guidelines suggest that you write at least 500 to 700 word hubs. But this is a great opportunity to figure out what type of hubbing works for you.
So keep us posted and let us know when you start to see search engine traffic appear and espcially sales.
Welcome to the HubChallenge!
Hi and thankyou to everyone for taking the time out to welcome me.
Chinweike - you're right that's exactly what i am doing at the minute just trying to learn from my mistakes.
Pearldiver thanks for the advice
Hi Wayne and thanks
Hello Nelle and thankyou - because this is so new to me and I haven't written in years I am doing just that- having a go at different types of writing to see what I can do - and what I can't!

Can any one help? I have just joined a couple of days ago, published my first hub but am still notAble to create my profile. Nothing will save and all imputed information just simply disappears after hitting save. I have emailed the editor and will wait to hear back. Until then, perhaps some...

I realise I can look throughout the site and check various profiles etc to see how long a member has been here, but I mean is there a specific search term I should use (on HubPages) or a page that may give me a quicker answer? I'm curious to find other hubbers that joined at around the same...

Sometimes the most hilarious hubs are not always the ones that we write, but someone joins hubpages in a matter of hours and they are just waiting to be seen. We have history buffs, professional writers, poets, and the list goes on and on. In the last few hours I have ran across the following new...

Many of us met HP by chance. Many of us came here looking for a way to earn and many of us came to express ourselves. For me it was a mixture of both.I wanted to make money with the thing I love to do the best...writing. However, there are some things I wish I knew back then. What is the one thing...
