I did this morning on one of my hubs. And it was a Comment module. Not that there were many comments on this one, but I appreciated the comments it received. And to those who did comment, sorry this was not on purpose.
I also did this on one of my hubs. I too send out apologies to those who commented. It's annoying when it happens ¬.¬
oh not so cool, thats not nice,
HP doesnt have save of capability automatically unlike Word etc,
it is bad if things happen like that specially when at times too you are writing and then your power tripped off,, and then you didnt save it then, goodbye, I usually write in the capsule "text", so when these things ahppen I am frustrated but then smile hehe, and those who commented will understand it
sorry for you Michael
I can only honestly say this hasn't happened, as of yet. But, anything is possible. Sorry, to hear it happened to you.
yes i have and it is one of the most infuriating things especially if you delete it when it is finished.
no, but I've almost hit delete many times when I want to check stats.
I started a Hub, made a mistake and left it but started a new one, finished and published it. Then yes, deleted the wrong one and wondered why I was flagged for a substandard Hub till I looked to find I deleted the wrong one dumb yeah, guess we all have our moments lol
I was adding additional comments modules since I had some questions added to the hub. That way a person could comment to a specific poll or subject instead of the entire article. Had an extra comment module, and thought I was deleting that one. lol, OOOPPPS!
Too bad there isn't an "Undo" button before you hit the "Done Editing."

Sometimes I leave comments on blogs and never return to see if the writer responded to me, simply because I forget. There should be an option for people who leave comments to be emailed (or if they're fellow Hubbers, sent a private message) when the writer of the Hub responds to them. ...

How do you feel when you write a comment and don't receive a response from the author?

Why do people write personal fan mail notes, but yet haven't commented on an article?Am I the only one who sits in utter amazement at people who send personal fan mail notes telling you how wonderful, inspiring, creative and informative your writing is, only to find out they have NEVER even written...

I'd like to stop future comments on some individual Hubs. If I delete the comment box in the editing mode, will it also delete all existing comments?Part 2 of that question: If I couldn't do it that way, is there some other way (other than hiding all comments across all my Hubs at...

I am still new to Hubpages and have been enjoying a rather successful start. Thank you to those who have voted my articles up and those few of you who have begun to follow me. But I have noticed one thing of late and maybe it is the way it goes but I think it is disrespectful. I have commented on a...
