Do you have online friends in a different country?
An open question to possible contributions of the life experience with those friends.
Yes Tim, most of my online friends are from different countries. Especially here on HubPages but also Facebook and other sites. The Internet has brought the world much closer together.
Oh my goodness, Tim!!!! Based on my (our) participation here at Hubpages, I have numerous online friends from a country other than the U.S.!!! It's one of the wonderful positive aspects and "privileges" of being a member here. I could go on listing for an hour, but just to name a few of my "buddies" from their countries.....there's Martie (South Africa), Nell Rose (England) as well as Eddy, Suzi, our Irish lass, Devika from Croatia.....Alun, aka "Greensleeves." I'll bet you have developed a special bond with a few of our fellow writers from elsewhere!
I see this as a privilege and beneficial side effect of our writer;s site! After 6 years, I have learned much invaluable information from these friends. You can't get much better than learning about a country, it's culture & geographic points of interest right from the horses mouth!! Have a great day, Tim....Peace, Paula
You brought up many names that have contributed to my journey here at HP including yours :-) They all have contributed to expanding my mind leading to a global perspective, which I am thankful for.
What a wonderful short list Paula. Isn't it just wonderful. I ain't gonna get rich here, but through my friends I will have riches innumerable and invaluable. And maybe folks should know that the Midwest America is a foreign compared to Southwest
Oh my..How could I ever neglect 2 add our wonderful sweet Aussie friend, Jodah! Everyone loves Jodah! There are so many & if I had time, I could list ALL, but would not intentionally leave out a friend from all the great places outside the U.S.
Yes, on Facebook and other places where I post my views. However, we do not often communicate except when posting.

Do you think facebook is a nice place to share views with your online friends? For example if you want to buy a new laptop so would you talk and get recommendations from your online friends before getting forth to buy one or would you go to the market and check on your own and not talk to anyone.

Are online friends real friends?Today, we can make friends on Facebook, Twitter, Instragram and etc but how much can you trust your online friends which you don't even see personally. Are this people be count on? Are they real?

For those who haven't seen the messages on Facebook, I would just like to let you know about Mary Craig. She was one of my friends on here for many years, and sadly she passed away yesterday. So sad when we lose someone that made us smile, laugh and just enjoy their company. Tillsontitan was a...

..for example, I'm very interested in learning about what people, in other countries and cultures, are thinking and what they want to share with the world, as they do on HubPages. And there are so many countries and so many cultures in the world! But currently, it's almost impossible to get in...
