    Hi Hubbers,

I'd like some help with passing the Quality Assessment Process. Will you please give feedback on my article Ideas for Advertising Events. What can I do to improve? Thanks!

I have tried numerous things to get this one featured.  Any help would be appreciated.  It had always done well for me until recently.  I have changed it a good bit trying to figure out what to do.  At this point, I am not sure what to do.  I have been deleting a good many of my pages but this is good information and I use it for my checklist.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.  Thank you.

I would be happy to give my advice, but take it with a grain of salt if it doesn't feel right to you.

    1) Your subtitles are really long. It would be much better to keep them short and simple: Promote Your Events, Volunteers, Create a Website, YouTube, The Newspaper...

    2) You seem to have a great deal of large subtitles throughout your article. I would keep the large blue subtitles to a minimum and instead use more text. It's very choppy.  And keep the capital letters in their place at the beginning of names. You have capitals for Events, Guestbook, Advertise For Events, Advertising, Committee Chairs, Volunteers, etc. With all of the exclamations, capitals, and large headings, it's a little too loud.

    3) I would put your quotes and lists off to the side so they don't interrupt the flow of your article.

    4) In the very first paragraph, you introduce your topic four times but never actually tell us what you are going to tell us. It seems like a lot of filler. I would be more than happy to share an easy format for writing papers if that would help keep you organized.

-Advertising For Events is something that many volunteers are looking for.
-Here are some of the things I have done in the past that cost little or no money.
-Have you ever tried to promote for an Event without spending any money?
-I have been on a many advertising committees and have learned quite a bit about how to get the word out about an event without spending any money or very little. I would like to share these ideas here and hope that you find them helpful.

    5) "This is a scroll down web page so please read and scroll until you can scroll no more. Thank you." ??

    6) Photo: Official flyer for the 2018 Fall Harvest Festival in Pendleton SC created by Nancy Hellams, Pendleton Fall Festival Advertising Committee. The Fall Harvest Festival is sponsored by the the Town of Pendleton and Clemson Area Chamber of Commerce. (There's no photo.)

    7) You are mixing up your audience throughout the article. All in one paragraph, you use I, your, you and one. I would decide who your audience is and write to them.

    8) Under "Need More Volunteers?", you never tell us how to get more volunteers, just that a random company/program allows for "2 Volunteers."

I only got through the first couple of sections and I'm exhausted. This is a fantastic topic that I really think would be very valuable for a good number of people. I really just think it needs to be written with organization first with a focus on the audience and the information you want to convey.

Thanks.  I will get to work on your suggestions.  I think I have deleted and moved etc so many times that I have even confused myself. lol  I keep trying different things and in the process made it confusing.  Thank you so much for this feedback.
