    Hi Everyone,

I've been on Hubpages for some years now, and am happy to earn a good payout each month. However, my latest quiz Hub has failed the quality assessment process and despite studying it I can't see why.

    Here's the link: https://hubpages.com/games-hobbies/100- … th-Answers

    Feedback very welcome! smile

It seems as though you may have written similar posts before without a problem, but just looking at it as a person without that knowledge my first inclination would be to say that this is not actually an article.

Everything in it, while interesting and well written, is nothing more than a list of questions and answers, all of which can be found anywhere on the web if someone cares to take the time to look for these things.

It is possible that you recently edited something here that made this list got through QAP and with the new more stringent rules,  the article may not have been viewed as original work simply because the content is already out there.

Therefore it would not meet the QAP requirements.  Just a guess, but thought I'd throw it out there for you.

I don't know the answer for sure, but maybe it would help if you added an introduction, so it is not only a list of questions and answers?

Some of the images also hurt my eyes a bit.

Run the article through a plagiarism checker.  I ran a quick check and it came back with a few hits.  For example, "What is the capital city of Australia?" came back quite a few times.

I agree - add an introductory segment, something that's more than just Q&A's.

You might also expand some of the answers.  For example: You ask when Potatoes were introduced and stated in the16th century.  Maybe elaborate a little on that; how were they introduced and where from?  I wouldn't add a lot since it is a trivia hub, but just enough to flesh things out a little.

Many thanks for your suggestions, each of you; your input is appreciated.

The Hub does have an intro, but for some reason unknown to me it doesn't show up on the published page.

You are confusing the summary with writing an introduction.  The summary appears on your hub tool and on Google search  but does not appear in your article.

Ah, thanks for pointing that out!  That's one issue I can correct quickly enough.  smile
