I have a message to say one or more of my hubs has been selected for HubPro Premium. I think this could be great news but I am a little nervous about what they will do as currently I get almost daily earnings from Amazon so I am worried they will snip those links. Does anyone have experience of a hub being edited? If so has this increased your traffic substantially?
I've had several hubs go through the Hub-Pro editing, and have been very pleased with all of them.
I found the editor(s) to be very helpful and more than willing to work with me in saying what I wanted to have said. They've provided better drawings than I ever could have, although no photos (almost all of mine are my own work and seldom can be found anywhere else) were changed. A couple deleted, that really were substandard. In one instance I was unavailable for consultation for a couple of weeks an no one complained - the editor just waited and we worked together to get the editing done.
I lost a lot of Amazon links in the process...and have had Amazon earnings rise. So has traffic and HubAd earnings. I even had an editor propose adding an Amazon ad to one hub - a product that I hadn't seen but fit will with the hub.
They do a terrific job - you're lucky to have had a hub selected for the process.
Some of my articles were edited with HubPro Premium but a lot more with basic. Remember that it is in HPs best interest for you to have very good traffic to your hub, and since it is already doing so well (which is why it was chosen) they do not want to mess that up.
They might suggest some changes. If they are not helpful, contact your editor and tell them that. Most likely the changes are going to help your traffic overall. (Mine that were edited with Premium get many thousands of page views a day more than before editing.)
As Wilderness pointed out, they might end up snipping some Amazon links. They are the links that are not making sales, based on their records. Overall sales tend to go up. If you get daily earnings and it is snipped you need to contact them and tell them about it.
Congratulations. This is a good thing.
I have had HubPro edits but not premium edits. Usually my grammar and spelling are updated.
Thanks for the feedback, sounds like it could be pretty exciting!

Just curious, but does anyone have experience with this? How'd you do it? Did you tell Google the article moved somehow or do anything else fancy? Or did you just copy, paste, delete from HubPages, and wait for Google to catch up?Im guessing there might be some duplicate content penalties from...
