Why was my link snipped?

I just created a new hub about my home renovation experience, in specific, my flooring replacement.
At the end, I added a link module and included a link to the company that did the work on my flooring.
I received a message from Hubpages saying it was snipped to satisfy the quality assessment process.
When I went to see the item that was snipped, it was the link module.
What’s the point of having a “link” module if you are not going to allow any links?
My question is why was the link snipped???
It had everything related to the content of my hub...
I am not understanding what qualifies to be linked and what does not...
I have been here over 3 years and published hundreds of hubs.
This does not make any sense to me.
    Please explain.
If you want to examine the hub.
It is titled “my floor replacement experience”.
    Thanks for any help.

Because it is promotional. Someone could be paid to add a link to an article and that isn't permitted.

Why do you have to mention the company?

        Did you read my article?
I was praising them for a job well done.
I want others to know who the company is so that they will benefit from my experience...
I don’t get it? Why no promotion?
Isn’t that what 90% of websites are about?

When I found a good supplement, I was able to add a link to the product so others could order it.
        What is the difference here?

          No, I couldn't find it.

From the FAQ: "Purely promotional offers and articles designed only to promote other sites or businesses are not allowed.

Maybe you can email team@hubpages.com for clarification? Perhaps they will allow it.

Here it is (replace back slashes with forward slashes, and replace under scores with dashes.)
            hubpages.com\living\My_Floor_Replacement_ Experince”

Is the misspelling ("Experince") in the url?

Yes, It is miss spelled. I didn’t catch it before creating the hub.

It is classed as promotion, which is not permitted. I'm guessing you only had your floor replaced once, so are unable to provide a balanced view as regards the service you received, compared with that of other companies.
HubPages is about providing quality content and not about promoting specific companies or products, especially if there is a remote possibility of a financial incentive to do so.

So what is the difference between this and my hub on supplements for joints? I have an amazon link which people can order it and I would receive a commission every time it was purchased via my link.
            It seems arbitrary to me...
If they are consistent, I would have no issues.
I understand the restriction for self promotion.
Here, I am not promoting myself or my company.
I have no financial interest in this company, just a satisfied customer.
It is basically an elaborate testimonial from a customer.

By the way, I was able to get around it by putting an in text link, so it is moot point.
Why do they have link modules?

There don't appear to be any ads running on this article at the moment though Jack.

Maybe you should write a broad article about flooring and include the work you had completed as your knowledge on the topic.  You could then interview the person that did your flooring and plug their company name as proof of their expertise.
