Hi Hubbers,
I'd like some help with passing the Quality Assessment Process. Will you please give feedback on my article The Road to Harry Potter. What can I do to improve? Thanks!
Hello Kenny,
This is a great try at a first article. The problem is that all this information is already available on the internet.
This link might help you: https://hubpageshelp.com/content/Learni … en-content
and the Learning Center has lots of resources: https://hubpageshelp.com/
Good luck.
So how should I develop this one into one that can be featured. Please help me out because I love this novel and I would love to see it published
You need original content, or at least material that can't be found easily. JK and her books are so popular and she has mega-fans that know everything about the books and the details of her life, not to mention the biographical movie. And all those are your competitors.
You'd have to do something different. Like... I don't know, how about, Which Harry Potter Character are You? And then do a mini psycho-analysis of the main characters. I just made that up, so it's probably rubbish.
Or how about you take one aspect of the book, or one storyline and see where that goes. How Dementors Exist in Real Life.
Remember that your aim is to get your article on the first page of search engine results, and you are going to find that very hard with this topic. People at HubPages are not your audience.
There's a great little website called, Askthepublic. Go there, type in your keywords. In this case, Harry Potter or JK Rowling, scroll down to see what questions searchers are asking. Pick out a couple of juicy ones and write an article which answers them.
You have to write what people want to read, not what you want to write about. If you are going to do the latter, you may as well write in a journal or personal blog.
I am requesting you to be my mentor in this field can you please be!
Sorry
There are lots of other people here in the forum who will help with your questions.
That was fantastic advice by theraggededge. I didn’t know the website askthepublic; my thanks for bringing it up.
It must be frustrating to take the time to give informed and useful advice with no thanks. You’re doing a great job, Bev.
