    Hi Hubbers,

I'd like some help with passing the Quality Assessment Process. Will you please give feedback on my article I still Cherish them! (must be signed in to view). What can I do to improve? Thanks!

beautiful hub, maybe you need to add in pictures, polls, videos and callouts to make the hub attractive

This is a little piece of your personal history that's nice, but probably won't ever become featured. HubPages heavily prefers informative to narrative pieces, and this one's also too short and imageless to boot.

You're welcome to write and chronicle your experiences, but to actually get featured and earn ad revenue, you might have to alter your expectations. What are some topics you know a lot about and have useful information to share? Feel free to browse some of my articles to get a feel for the length and quality expected.

I agree with Jeremy.  if you want to be featured, you need to write hubs that resolve issues for readers or answer their questions. They don't really care about your personal memories...it's unfortunate, but that's how people are.

Perhaps you could take this piece and use it as the basis for a longer article about the importance of childhood friendships, add photos, give specific examples of things your young friends did and said that influenced you, etc.

Then you'd really have something that could do quite well because it would make people realize how important their connections to the past have been in forming their current lives.
