Hi everyone,
I'm a returning writer after years in hiatus and I am slowly updating articles and deleted those that are too low quality.
I wrote a completely new article https://hubpages.com/family/why-you-sho … oleplaying and was originally told there were too many outbound links to the same domain. (I was crediting the page I got the pictures that are not my own from).
I removed the links and submitted it for review, but now it is published, but not featured.
Could someone help me identify what the issue with the article is? I have gone through it a couple of times now and while I am sure there are plenty of room for improvement, I can't put my finger on anything that would make it not live up to the quality standards. (I'm sure you guys will prove me wrong though! )
All help appreciated!
Thanks.
Here are some things to consider:
Your title is far too long as are your subtitles
The beginning sentences are very confusing and don't seem to match up to anything
You have no real introduction
One subtitle has words that are not spelled correctly
The article doesn't seem totally focused.
The best way to avoid these problems is to create an outline for yourself before you begin to write your artice.
Every hub should have a beginning, a middle and an end. Furthermore, if you are going to talk about various aspects of a topic, list them in your introduction...then follow the list as you write your sub sections.
I like the concept you are teaching here, but you need to tighten it up and make things very clear for your reader. Otherwise, you will lose him.
Hi -- I really like this article. A few small changes might help get it featured.
The intro is really sweet, and I get what you're doing, but I do think you need to tell your readers exactly what the article is about, and why you're qualified to write it, right at the start. The dialogue should stay, but move it down a bit and explain what it is *before* the text.
Kill that Amazon capsule. That's most likely the main problem. You'll make more $ from traffic if the article's up on a niche site than you ever will from sales from that capsule!
The headlines should be changed a little -- I would drop the # signs and either use the number and a colon (as in "2:") or no number at all.
Good luck -- your grammar and spelling are good and you write with a light, lively style that this site sorely needs.

I've done several rewrites. I've changed the titles. I've taken out all links, added some back in. Added photos. Removed photos, etc. I don't mind doing rewrites, except that I may be taking even further in the wrong direction. Anyone with insight on the problem...

Lately, I have had 11 hubs unfeatured due to Quality Issues. I have assured my hubs do not contain grammatical or spelling errors. I have included relevant video and changed the titles and added new supporting texts and all this to no avail. The HubPages Staff continues to deem my hubs do not...
