HubPages could increase their audience if it was easy to people to click on a follow button when they find an article or an author they like. Currently you have to click on the author's picture, then click on their name, then click the word profile in order to see a follow option.
I agree with you Ron. It is a lot of things to do, and the writing is very small when you read from an ordinary smartphone. Perhaps make one "follow author" button that appears after clicking more, or even before that step. I would prefer to be able to follow an author immediately after reading an article rather than contacting the author. If I wanted to comment on the story, I'd use the comment section on the bottom, so I see no reason why the "contact author" should be put so close to the profile photo. HP should make the option more accessible for everyone.

I just TRIED to follow a person on Pethelpful. Couldn't figure out how - no buttons for it. So HOW is this done and WHY isn't it easy?

While I understand that hubbers might occasionally want to share some of their own hubs with their followers, it can be frustrating to see multiple 'old' hubs shared by their owner when looking at the 'feed'. I'd like to suggest that HubPages limits the ability to do this to a certain number...

Have you noticed that you must be signed in to click on a hubber's name to go to their hubs? This does not seem good to me; it keeps readers from spotting hubbers they may want to check out and the traffic we are after is non-hubbers isn't it? So they would never be signed in. This seems an issue...

What else can HubPages do to increase own and Hubber's revenue?I have experienced a couple of limitation in HubPages and I do think HubPages and Hubber's gain more if HubPages enhance its own platform. For example, Hubbers upload their artwork for other hubber's to use in their hubs to share...

I want to buy a book advertised on a fellow hubber's page. I don't know if I am 'allowed'.Are we allowed to click on ads that are not on our own pages? Or are Hub Pages ads strictly hands off?
