Says Pending for sun & mon. Just wondering what’s up. Pardon poor typing, on phone.

Also, read a review of hubpages from a guy who says he never gets paid. Has anyone ever actually gotten paid? Mine accumulates but I haven’t hit $50.

Yes we do get paid. Every time, for nearly a decade that I’ve been here.

I have read several of those reviews over the years. The most recent one was from a guy that did something to have his Google adsense account closed and since he was not being paid by Google he was blaming Hubpages.
Hubpages does pay, every month on the 28th. Do not worry if the earnings are not reported for a few days as it will not affect your payment.

I have started earning. But I had not reached the $50 mark. Good for me. But it is just a beginning. Someday, I'll get paid as others. Thanks.

My first payment was over 7 years ago and HP has never missed yet, on the dot 28th of each month. So be assured, if you write quality, evergreen articles and manage to get them on to the niche sites with accompanying healthy views, you should eventually start to earn. It can take time but if you persevere you never know where it might take you?

Reporting delays of a day or three are common and nothing to worry about.

If you set up your account correctly, and you earned money, you will get paid.

I want to thank you all for responding. As an aspiring novelist and full-time teacher (+mom, wife, side-hustler), I did not want to waste time on a site that would not be lucrative, no matter how much I enjoy it. My goal would be to reach $50 a month. With how I’m going, it’s looking more like $50 a year! So I guess I need 12x the articles I have now!

That goal is easy to reach but it does not always come about fast. I write several articles per month but even then I did not write my best earner until I had been on this site for 2 years.
Do not expect to make a good salary with only 12 articles. It may happen, but it is not likely. Just keep writing and you will be more likely to be successful.

Thank you for the encouragement! I have 16 and 12 of those have been snagged by network sites. I have so many ideas. I think a few a month, as you mentioned, is a realistic pace for me!

Payment is slow and low in the beginning, but the years go by more quickly than you realize. If you stick with it you will be happy  with a nice monthly payout that keeps on giving.

I hardly make anything (pennies really) but mine says pending for Sunday and Monday as well.

HubPages is legit and worth the time and effort. Some times the earnings report is late, but that is incidental. They always payout on the 28th, rain or shine.

OMG! The earnings stats are stuck? This has NEVER happened before!

    EVERYBODY PANIC!

But seriously folks... as a wise person (i.e. someone other than myself) posted the last time this occurred, things will get caught up eventually. Until then, remain in your seats and return your tray tables in an upright position.

No offense intended. I am just feeling sarcastic this morn. big_smile

(Plus, I love that guy-jumping-out-the-window GIF and will take any opportunity to use it.)

Hubpages definitely pays every month.  It takes a while to get to the point that you can accumulate the first $50 but once you do things start happening quicker.  I think since I reached the $50 about a year and a half ago I only haven't made the minimum a few times.  The other thing to keep in mind is you get paid at the end of the month after you reach the $50 not the end of the month in which you earned it.

I have picked up some useful information and encouragement from this thread. Hopefully I will eventually make pay out. Had I not read the comment about pay out occurring the following month after reaching the figure I would have been getting concerned. Not that I am likely to get there for some time yet! But I live in hope and keep plodding along.

You are correct to ask why HP is late on reporting the earnings. It's just that they are always late. We've grown complacent over the issue. What else can we do but joke about it? It's a running gag.
