    Hi Hubbers,

I'd like some help with passing the Quality Assessment Process. Will you please give feedback on my article? What can I do to improve? Thanks!

      Hi Saeedeh,

I have some suggestions for you.

You might think about changing the title to 6 Simple Steps to Get More Friends.

Your first image of a solitary hand doesn't suggest friendship. Try Pixabay for more suitable images.

The first sentence shouldn't be all in bold. It also needs to be shortened or broken into two.

You launch straight into 'high self-esteem'. Do you need high self-esteem to attract friends? If, so, perhaps you could explain why?

Put all your subtitles into title case.

I'm sure others will come up with more ideas.

      Good luck.

The "John Davy" photo has problems. For a start, most people know him as "John Dewey."

    Hi there,
    A. You should put some high-quality photos including the main photo of the article and each number. You can download high-quality photos from Pexels and Pixabay.

    B. Put a space between the number and the word, for example,
    1.pay attention for others (incorrect)

    1. Pay attention for others (correct)
    And don't forget the grammar.

    C. Put one poll at least.
    D. Put one video at least.

    E. The article must be 750 words at least.

    I hope I helped you.

Ameen, stop misleading people. You do not need polls or videos to be featured.

Your correction of Saeedeh's sentence also missed the bigger error.

Please read the help center properly before leaving such comments.

My first thought is you need to read and study the HP Style Guide https://hubpageshelp.com/standards/HubP … yle-Guide. The advice the others offer is sound. But, you need to do your homework and find out what HubPages expects from their writers to be featured.

That supposed Mark Twain quote ("A praising sentence and a good compliment make me two months of my life") makes no sense whatsoever.

CYong74, this is not what I say.
    This is what HubPages say.

Ameen, I know you're trying to help, but you need to be careful that you don't mislead people. Your first response contains some good advice, but it also contains errors. As CYong74 pointed out, the sentence that you said was correct is wrong. "Pay attention for others" should be "Pay attention to others".

In addition, polls and videos may help an article to be more successful, but they aren't necessary for an article to pass the Quality Assessment Process. If you look at articles that have successfully gone through the process, you'll see that many of them don't have polls, for example.

Ameen, being bratty with your responses doesn't make you right. Doesn't change the fact too you obviously didn't read the HubPages suggestions correctly.
