    Hi Hubbers,

I'd like some help with passing the Quality Assessment Process. Will you please give feedback on my article? What can I do to improve? Thanks!

I removed all links to my business and all offers to help people get started. It’s really hard to write about a product that has changed my life without recommending it or sounding salesy, especially when I DO sell it, and unapologetically so! I want it to sound informative. The only thing O left are three amazon boxes at the bottom with the specific products discussed in the article. So why can it not be featured? Thanks.

It's an advertisement. It won't ever be approved.

Hi ragged edge, and thank you for your take. However, I think saying it won't "ever be approved" may be too final. I have written other articles, including one about Nectar mattresses, that have been featured. This is the only one of my 24 articles that has not been featured. Most of them are on network sites. So it struck me as odd. As I said in my comment above, I took out all of the references to me selling it and links to my personal business page. I followed the directions they sent me to take out "spammy" content. Now it is literally just a recommendation of products and my experience with them. On what do you base your comment that it is an ad that will never be featured? Can you elaborate? (I ask this in good faith and not snarky--sometimes things come across strange through writing.) I posted on here to receive help and would like to get some direction. Thank you for your time!

How is it not an advertisement? Basically it is, "I use this and you should too."

You are not comparing it with another product/system. You have not touched on any downsides. You have not approached it in a critical way.

The three Amazon capsules are overkill. You only need one, and an in-text link is much better than three disconnected capsules.

I saw your mattress article and was surprised they approved it, so you never know, you might get this through, but I think HP is stricter about diet stuff.

I tend to agree with Bev's comments above. You will struggle to get this approved for several reasons, Audrey.

    1. Even though you have removed your links, you have already divulged your commercial ties with this company. Self-promotion is not permitted.
    2. Your bio fails to mention the commercial link, which ideally, it should.
    3. It is a YMYL topic, which is going to be extremely difficult to get approved.
    4. It is a MLM scheme and you are encouraging readers to sign up as an ambassador.
    5. You don't appear to be medically qualified.
    6. There is no reference to any scientific evidence to corroborate the benefits.
    7. You STILL have your affiliate link in the photo source.
    8. Finally, as Bev has already indicated, it is not a balanced article insofar as you don't compare its benefits with any other product.

    Hope this helps.

Hi ladies! THIS is what I was looking for! I very much appreciate the detailed information, and now I clearly see what you’re saying. I’m going to rewrite the whole thing based solely on my experience with the products and go more in depth—the bad side effects at the start, etc.—also including which products have rocked my world and which ones I’m not too crazy about. I think that will be more helpful for people who are interested in Plexus weight loss (gut health + exercise).

Just to clarify, pyramid schemes and MLMs are not the same. A true MLM is not a scheme (trickery/debt). A pyramid scheme (amway/herbalife) creates immense debt for the “business person” for products that don’t work and they subsequently have to trick multiple other people to cover their debt, who have to trick others, etc. An MLM (or direct sales) is an individual small business owner who pays a small fee to join (think $20-$100, basically in order to receive a large discount on products) and has the choice of recruiting others or not, has no sales minimum, and are for good quality or unique products in the market. (Plexus is Dave Ramsey approved, and Beautycounter receives awards all the time and is worn on the red carpet, just to name two). Maybe I should write an informative article on this topic? smile

Thank you both, so much, again!
