    Hi Hubbers,

I'd like some help with passing the Quality Assessment Process. Will you please give feedback on my article? What can I do to improve? Thanks!

I think it is not being featured because it contains "spammy elements". There is a link to the computer program I used to make the 3D images. Creating the program helped me figure out how to make 3D images and all the images on the hub were made using it. Having the link makes the hub better. Without it the hub is just theory. So I don't want to remove it.

Any ideas on how to provide a link to a free program that creates 3d images out of 2d pictures on a hub about making 3d images without it being "spammy".
Here is my article: How to Create 3d Images and Videos Without a Three-Dimensional Camera. Convert 2d to 3d Image.

This is an interesting and informative article. Your computer program is mentioned only once, near the end. Why not mention it earlier, without the link and then put the link in a link capsule, saying that it's the program you used? I would only use one example red and blue photo. While it might not be exactly what you are doing, I would use 'beautiful' photos to say to readers, "now practice on something like this".

Thanks for the suggestions. After improving the photos I moved the link to a link capsule and made it very clear that it was the program I used to make the images. It did not work so I will keep trying.

One thing I did on an article that was being treated like this was to add an introduction paragraph or summary paragraph at the START. It summarised what was to come and included information on the "spammy" item. My problem hub had a story at the start, so in the summary I said that the hub included a story at the start to illustrate the point but the rest of the hub gave factual information about the main point. It then was featured straight away.

I kept getting the same email saying that my hub could be featured if I removed the 'spammy' elements. The changes I made did not seem to make a difference. When I was ready to give up I went to the help section and emailed HubPages.  The hub was featured and put on a network site.

In my case I think it was all about the link. If the link was there then my hub was not going to be featured. After I emailed HubPages it was featured without any changes. When it was selected  for a network site they just shortened the title.

That's good to know. Thanks for letting us know the outcome. Congratulations on being featured in a network.

Maybe you could add some text to clarify that you aren't making money from the program and that it is for the benefit of the reader... something like that?

I also suspect that your 3D images might also be causing a problem because, for a normal viewer, they look poor quality. Images on HP need to be very good and yours don't - sorry.

Check the bottom of the email; there are usually some specific suggestions there.
