    Hi Hubbers,

I'd like some help with passing the Quality Assessment Process. Will you please give feedback on my article? What can I do to improve? Thanks!

Has this article been rejected? If so, were reasons given?

I see one obvious issue -- italicizing keywords is not allowed.

Another possible issue is the link to skillshare. It could look as if the whole page was written to promote the video lessons.

        Hi Will,

Yes it was, and there were no comments unfortunately. Hopefully it's just italicized words.

I bet it's the links. Try submitting it without any links, and you'll know if that was it.

It was published with the link intact and the italics removed.

She is no newbie to writing but made a mistake and could not work out what was wrong. Other, genuine newbies, probably make a lot more mistakes, don't understand what they are, are too shy to ask for help in the forums and just give up. Which is not good.

I imagine it is a resource issue, but it is a shame there is no reason given for rejection.

              Hi Will,

Just wanted to let you and others know that the problems were both italics (which I learned now can only be used for titles of movies, books and TV shows... and maybe something I'm currently forgetting smile) and the link to Skillshare.

It doesn't make a lot of sense to me, because it seems that other links I had there (to AllPoetry and Jimdo) weren't a problem since my article is now featured with those links intact. Skillshare also wasn't an affiliate link, just something I personally found useful.

              Thanks for your help!
