Hi community,
I was wondering whether anyone can tell me what that number in the blue circle on the left of your profile is (or, if I understand correctly, it is called HubScore?).
I've noticed this number fluctuates, so what are the things that influence that number?
I have also seen that there are some previous threads about this but I didn't find any adequate answer so please mind my starting new thread.
There are two scores - the one on your profile pic is your hubberscore. It's not that important although it does indicate how well you are doing to a certain extent. Newbies always start from 60 and go up or down from there.
Then there are hubscores. They are next to each article on your account page and there is an overall score above them.
I believe the two types of score are loosely linked. No-one knows exactly how the scores are calculated - it's an algorithm. Mostly if your hubberscore is around 80-ish, it doesn't mean very much.

I'm fairly new to HubPages, and I'm trying to figure out how to get my hub scores higher. My first hub did fairly well, along with a couple of my slightly humerous hubs. But my informative ones aren't doing so great. Any suggestions?

I seem to have two different hubscores; a red number by my hub title, and a "score" in my profile box to the right on my hubpage. Why are they so different?

I think I know the answers I will get from my fellow hubbers on this topic. But what is funny is that two days of no activity from me in Hubpages has dragged my Hubscore from 79 to 74. How fair is that? I cannot go on contributing every second of every minute of every hour of every day of...

Hey everyone! My name is Brandon and I am a new Hubber from Houston, Texas! I have a brief question about hubscores on the profile and on my articles and how they differ. For example, I noticed today as people read my hubs, my hubscore would rise on the article, but also noticed I still have a...

I wrote my first hub a week ago and i wasn't sure if it would do well. I checked back two days ago and saw the hubscore increased and my overall one did as well. However, today i noticed that my overall hubscore increased, but the hub i wrote went down a few points. Could someone help me understand...
