    I read your Hub on Diabetes and although I do agree with all of what you have said I think it would have been better if you would also talk about the current medical approach to the problem. The days of no sugar diets are falling by the wayside. My husband is type 2 diabetic, and although his problem can be controlled with proper diet and exercise it will never go away. His diet is about counting carbs. It is not about what you eat so much as how much you eat. we need sugar not a lot but we need it, Also diabetes is caused by the bodies decreased or non-existent output of insulin. As people get older the body starts to fail this is a fact of life. Not all type 2 diabetics are guilty of abusing thier bodies as you suggested in your hub.
