Working on an article and trying to save it is problematic. I have written a segment of an article and went to save it and it would not save. Now it has to be redone. Please advise

I use Google docs. It saves as you write and there is not cost. Then, copy and paste works well.

Use a word processing program for writing and when ready transfer it to the Hub Tool for Editing.  That way you can't lose it!

      Yep. This.

Never, ever write into a live application. The anguish when something goes wrong is unbearable and you can never reproduce that original writing in the same way.

Yes, open the word processing program and the article, copy and paste, save capsules, as I go, and when done! Abracadabra! I have two copies of the article saved. Presto!

I haven't encountered this problem on this site. I have, however, on a few other sites I used to write on so now what I do is make use of writing sites that auto save as I write, that way, I'm sure my work remains, even if my phone goes off while writing.

One of such sites I use is

And it works for me all the time.

It might still be there. Check your article tab. Also, copy and paste to another program when you have this situation come up.

Yeah that used to happen to me, now I just use Word, or google docs if I am on the go.
