So, the popup that appears across the bottom of the page when you scroll up is now entirely unrelated links to Maven sites? No HubPages representation at all?

I guess we are back to sending HP traffic to totally unrelated Maven sites with no reciprocation.

    Come on, HP.

That might explain the loss of traffic that a lot of people are reporting.

This problem only started today (at least as far as I can tell).

Our pages are so full of ads, and it looks very narrow, too. I think the whole site is becoming unappealing.

Yes, I agree, but what I was talking about are the ads for MAVEN. As of yesterday when someone went onto one of my articles they saw ads at that bottom for more articles on the same site. Not totally related but at least they were about dogs.
Today the ads at the bottom of the page are about football, etc. I am pretty sure that someone that is concerned about their dog´s health care is not going to want to see a bunch of ads for the Lions football web page.

Yep, up till now most of those bottom of the page pop-ups were my own stuff or hubs that were closely related. Now it's just random crap from Maven.

              Please sort this out, team.

I've seen that popup show quite a few times on my pages in at least the last several weeks. Maybe it's random.

I'd love to know how we're actually benefiting from those Maven sites.  Lots of writers here write to earn an income creating content around subjects we're passionate about, and we've gradually earned less and less from it.  We'd like to earn more instead.    Thank you.

Also, there seem to be strict rules against links we add to our articles that are considered "spammy" when they're not, yet HP seems to constantly reserve the right to do what it pleases and break those rules liberally.

Hi, All.  Thanks for the heads up!  There's a bug with the widget, so if possible, be patient while we figure it out.  I will let you know as soon as I hear more.  Thank you for always being on the ball; we really appreciate it!

Thanks Robin. I'm very relieved that it's only a bug.

We have disabled the feature until we can get the bug fixed.  Thanks again.  smile
