Hubpages on Laptop has not been loading correctly the past day or so. Is this a known issue? Hubpages is working for me on mobile.

It's fine. Clear your browsing history and cookies or try a different browser smile Let us know if that works.

Can you show a screen-shot because it sounds as if you may be having the same problem that a few of us had a couple of weeks ago when the page would not display correctly.  If so it is likely to be McFee  (If you use it) which is causing the problem. We had to remove McFee before we could fix it.  Matt is working on a fix as we speak.

Of course, did clear cache, etc in Chrome. Works in Firefox. Why would it not be working in Chrome?

I zipped over to Chrome and checked one of my hubs. All appeared well, including the bombardment of ads; kind of surprised HP is allowed to get away with that. big_smile

Sometimes a badly designed ad can glitch up a page for certain browsers. I've seen that happen elsewhere. Maybe that's what's happening and the problem will eventually go away on its own, just speculating.

Hubpages on mobile is fine but on chrome and ie it is horrible.  Have cleared cache and history and that did not help.  All other sites have been fine.  I am on a 64bit windows 10 system.

It looks like McAfee Antivirus may be causing this issue. Disabling it will let HubPages load correctly.

I would agree on the cause, and still do.  I think it is pretty shocking that a company would reply for people to remove anti-virus from computers to view website instead of just having a more compliant site that functions properly. I hope this is not what you are suggesting.  If it is, is hubpages in dire straits and not able to have a fully functional website?

Have tried IE, Chrome and Firefox and doesn't load correctly in any.  This is only site that I have been on that has issues.  Issue appears to be on HP end.

Reboot your computer.  I used to work in IT and my mantra was "when in doubt, reboot".  Rebooting your computer clears the memory.  It's usually a lack of memory that causes issues such as the one everyone is describing.

What McAfee product and version are you using? Please let us know at team@hubpages.com. This information may help us solve this issue.

I don't have Mcafee, I've restarted many times cleared cache etc. HP will not work in Chrome since I posted this initially. Works on Firefox.

For what it's worth, I'm using Windows 10 and Chrome on a laptop at the moment and HubPages is working fine. (I don't have McAfee Antivirus either.)

Edit: HubPages is working fine in Edge on my laptop and in Safari on my iPad mini running iOS 9.

That is interesting because it would not work on my laptop but would work on my phone and tablet.  The only thing that seemed to help and that goes for two of us, that we remove McFee from our computers.  It would not work on Firefox or Edge for me.  I removed all my browsing history and cleared recycle bins and went through almost every conceivable setting in google.  I was also using Chrome.  Perhaps Matt will figure it out because to be honest I would like to be able to use McFee again.

Same, I sent info in.  My concern would be if we are having issues how many readers are having issues?

Mine is fixed now - once I removed McAfee software it worked fine.

Still not fixed, if we are having this issue how many of our readers are having issues? I post this because my earnings have been almost cut in half.  January is usually a slower month for me but not sure why such the drop.

What you are seeing is the plain text version which loads if your internet is running too slow for the full version to come up in a timely manner.
