Did you see my suggestion about reading the material in the Learning Center?
Where are the references in your article? The reader doesn’t know what document you are referring to when you say things like (Sherman, 2018), (Russ 2020), and (Sonmez, 2020). You need to include a reference or sources list at the end of the article. Another point to consider is that the gaps in the middle of some of your paragraphs look strange.
I believe that "spammy elements" in the email that you received is listed as a possible problem in an article, not a certain one. As you say, your article has no links, except for the link under the photo that you've now added. The article has other problems, however.
Your image is tiny again. The Learning Center article whose link I gave you in my previous post says "Many people search on Google Images and just credit "Google Images" for their photos. This is incorrect." Did you actually read the article?
Some of your paragraphs still contain gaps. You haven't added any sources yet. Since you say you wrote the article about racial profiling, it should be easy to copy the list of sources from your original paper and add it to your HubPages article.
It's time to stop posting in the forum and get to work on improving your article, oafk. You need to read the information in the Learning Center carefully and correct your errors.
This is crazy. He wants his hand holding.
And what's this?

I like where he got his headshot from:

So you are not James Smith and you are not from the USA? This guy is as fake as they come.
You delete it because it is not a legal-to-use image.

I was more surprised that his vague responses did not raise any red flags....
I thought the generic name was a dead giveaway. "James Smith?" Wow, he must have been up all night coming up with that one.
No writing on this site for 9 years! Is it possible to hack into an old account?
I see a lot of these strange accounts everywhere. Most likely it's a hacked email address linked to several social media accounts. The hacker will try to take ownership of the victim's accounts. Constantly revolving fake profile pictures and usernames is their defining trait.
This guy fits the bill.
Reading this thread, this individual is very suspicious has he/she been reported? I just sent a report.
It's no wonder the senior members are so bitter and regressive, they can't tell when they're getting trolled. 10/10 would laugh again, great thread OP.
"Bitter and regressive", says the person who likes to send staff screenshots of posts he doesn't like.
And OP's just published another 'article'. Going to a lot of trouble for a troll thread, don't you think?
Perhaps they suspect it but don't want to jump to conclusions when it happens. Some people like to be helpful. I haven't seen any "bitter and regressive" writers in this forum.
Why are you so hostile to the hubbers that are trying to help newbies? Do you really think it is helpful to send a "thumbs up" to someone who comes on here to try and make fools of others?
Yes, but at least Kyler was grateful for the help he got from you, DrMark, bitter and regressive individual, that you are
I saw quite a few grammatical, phrasing, and word misuse issues on his article, but I'm afraid I could not muster up the good grace to point them out.
What does he mean by 'regressive' anyway? Another case of word misuse, I fear.
When everything they say is intertwined with self-righteous bitterness, absolutely.
I do not know what is going on in your life to make you so bitter, but how you chose to act out is your own personal choice. You are losing out on a lot of help here by being so angry.
Meh, maybe so, but if receiving that help means needing to share the same space with those I refer to for an extended period of time... I think I'm fine with my perceived lowly existence and relinquish my self-definition to whatever makes everyone feel more comfortable.
Thanks for the exposure therapy session. Stay safe out there. Keep calm and party on.
Thanks. No partying around here at the moment, but everyone is keeping calm. Stay safe.

Do anyone here think that Hubpages will update to GA4 analytics instead of the outdated UA. I would love to get a better idea of how my articles are faring and the traffic of each one, but I can't track that using Google analytics as it is not supported and UA code is now discontinued by Google and...

I know I brought this up before, but I've received two emails from GA recently regarding the UA version no longer processing new date as of July 1, 2023. This banner appears at the top of my GA page: NotificationUniversal Analytics will no longer process new data in standard properties beginning...

I signed up for a Google Analytics account a few years ago, but I was never able to finish setting up the account with Hubpages because I could never find the Tracking ID.Today, I revisited my account in Google and still couldn't find the Tracking ID. Does somebody have any idea where in Google...

The tracking ID is no longer in the UA-123456-1 format but a GA4 format. See Google Analytics Support website article entitled ([UA→GA4] Data collection and tagging) that discuss this. I could have added a link but didn't want my account closed. Until HubPages changes the format, my account...
