Why do artists feel the need to randomly interject their name mid-song or sentence? It's not as if we don't know who’s singing? Their face is only plastered all over the CD cover, front and back. I'm forewarning you...when I become a published author do not be surprised if you see my name suddenly appear mid-sentence for no reason at all. No reason-Ann Nonymous-at all. Oops...It's already started! haha!
How many songs can you think of that have the artist's name in the lyrics as I just described?
i can't think of a single one. i must be out of touch or something
P.Diddy does that in a few of his...ummm...Slim Shady.... Dr. Dre....and maybe they do it so no one forgets their names or they don't forget their own names
P Diddy....that guy is over rated.
yeah i thought of slim shady right away...
every one put your hands in the air and wave em at has_awaywithwords like you just don't care
The new up and coming British/Punjabi hip hop singer, Jay Sean does it...actually I think the featured artists in his USA albums do it for him!!!! haha
Hip hop, rappers and I do recall the band Crazy Town mentioning their name a few times in their song.
People referring to themselves in the third person is almost as annoying as the consistent use of bad spelling in published articles.
has_awaywithwords does not like that tone of voice darkside
Perhaps has_awaywithwords can teach you some manners j/k

And no cheating...this is the honor system. Any arse can Google anything. Okay, I'll start with an easy one..."I'll be coming for your love okay..."(extra points for group/artist name(s))

Is it best to use a pen name or your real name on HP, and how easy is it to change your user name?I am considering a change of name here on HP, and wondering what the implications would be. Has anybody done it, or have an opinion about it?

Was wondering if you all think HubPages is a good networking tool for someone seriously seeking publication or whether it actually hurts your chances more than it helps them? ( some places will not accept submissions that have been published elsewhere) Have any of you been published since you...

Although I have got several articles accepted by Constant Content (and 1-2 other strict websites), I am still not 100% confident in my work sometimes when it involves comma usage. For example, sometimes I write sentences that are longer than average, which makes it difficult for me to discern...

I have finally got some Hubs into the verticals by submitting them. I always go through them and rewrite sentence structure. I noticed in the editor's rewrites many changes are made replacing words and deleting whole portions of sentences. When I read the edited versions they still seem to sound...
