Can I Sue Google? xD

I wanted to see where my new hub ranked and happened to check a ranking of an older hub. This is what I found, notice the author name:
    https://hubstatic.com/14988753.png

My first thoughts were that it was another hubber and Google probably caught it from the related hubs section or something. But, I did some digging and there is no user with that name on HubPages, but the term sun_chaser appears on my hub. It's not on the source code, but it showed on the hub. It is apparently the user name of the Youtube channel of one of the videos I've got on there.

Can I sue Google for this mistake and maybe get them to secure rankings for all of us as their dues to me?

Of course you sue Google but you won't win.  They have an army of lawyers who will bury you in documentation and motions until you give up.  Making you go away is just as good as a win for them.

Wishful thinking! I've seen the same think happen with mine. Usually when something like that happens, or other nonsensical or stupid things, I embarrass the company  on Twitter.

It's useful for ranting sometimes, not much good for promoting articles though because tweets disappear so fast over the horizon on the everflowing stream

It's from the video you've included. Drip irrigation system by Sun_Chaser.

This seems to be a new policy by Google, they include the name of the video author in the snippet. Other hubbers have complained about it too. The one positive is that if anyone clicks on your snippet, it still takes them to your article and not to YouTube.

Oh, I haven't noticed anyone else point it out. Thanks for the info. Yes, it is from the Drip irrigation video.

Brandon, I searched for your hub with both Google and Bing. I saw what you meant. Google did it wrong. But Bing displays you as the author correctly: Author: Brandon Lobo

That video is definitely uploaded by Sun_Chaser, so you're right about the fact that Google took it from that.

So I checked a few of my hubs that had YouTube videos. Sure enough, I found I have the same problem as you. The SERPs show "Uploaded by xxxxx" next to the last change date, and it's always the person who uploaded the video. But for some reason it doesn't happen with all of them. Many of them don't show the author or "uploaded by" at all. Bing always gets it right, displaying my name as the author of the article.

What Google should do, is include the word "Video" such as "Video uploaded by xxxx"  Maybe HubPages staff can pass that on to them since I believe they have connections with influential personnel.

Glad to know that I'm not the only one and that Bing has it right. I did not check the meta data, but if Bing gets it right it's most likely a Google fault. I wonder whether HP still has contacts with people in high places at Google. There are many other things that could go onto that list.

Google owns YouTube, so it makes sense that they would promote it that way.

Bing also calls comments on HubPages' articles "recommendations" or something to that effect from what I can remember.
