      Hi there,

      This is a strange article. I can't really work out what it is about. I like to read the introduction and then skim read to get a feel but this seems muddled.

      First of all, HubPages is not a blogging platform. It wants people to write informative, useful, magazine-style articles. Educational and historical is fine too - and anything that helps to solve a problem.

      There are great big swathes of white space throughout. They need to be deleted and formed into paragraphs, as I'm doing here.

      So you need to decide what this article is focused on. Be niche. If it's about truck drivers then stay on topic. By all means mention your uncle, but his WWll experience is not relevant. However, it might well be useful in another article about the Normandy landings. Same with the section on his funeral. Think about what your reader is looking to get out of this.

      Remove the link to Pride Transport. If you have written the article in order to promote this business, know you can't do it at HubPages.

      The Learning Center (click Help, top right to navigate there) has a lot of info about writing here.
