page jumps

I had a hub that I wrote years ago that used page jumps. They worked great ... so good in fact, I wrote a hub about using page jumps and how to insert them into hubs.
I am writing a hub now that I really need page jumps. It is going to be long ... a long listing. So I  put in a page jump and it didn't work.  I went back to the original hub and they no longer work.
I searched on the internet about how to make them. I added the HTML the internet said and it doesn't work.
I  have been gone from HP for a couple years, and I know very little HTML, so I really need some help. Thanks.

You're referring to internal page jumps, yes? Such as a content list that when clicked on, moves to the middle of the page?

If so, you don't actually need any additional HTML. Although the process can still be confusing till you get the hang of it.

      What I usually do is:

      - Publish the hub
      - View the published hub in a new browser window
      - View the HTML source
      - Search for the relevant capsule title. Each HP capsule actually has a reference. For example, mod_42407390 . (It helps if you have a header for the capsule. Simply search for the header using the CTRL-F function on windows)
      - Add the reference, with a preceding # , to the URL of the published hub.
      - The new extended URL would be something like https://owlcation.com/humanities/*******#mod_42407390
      - Use the new URL as the link

Hope this makes sense and help.

(Some of my hubs use this function in contents. For eg: https://owlcation.com/humanities/Top-10 … e-Emperors)
