My article, 'LY Bro. Stay Safe." was not featured due to 'spammy content', but there is none! Could someone please read and tell me if I messed up? Thanks!
Hi there,
You've received a form notification that says that spammy content might be a reason it failed the QAP.
The actual reason it has failed it that it is more like a personal blog post than an article. The premise is good, i.e. explaining from a teen's perspective how you feel, but you need to separate the personal experience so that the piece is more structured.
There are other things that need fixing too. All images must carry a Creative Commons license and you should cite the source. You can't just republish images you find on the web.
Your title is not search-friendly. You have to understand that HubPages exists to make money. It's a business. Articles carry advertisements which provide the writers and company their income. If your title is unlikely to be something that people are searching for, it's never going to attract readers.
You are an excellent writer, you just need to learn how the platform works. Spend some time at the Learning Center, click Help, top right to navigate there.
Edit: you can find suitable images on Unsplash and Pixabay.
I believe there is something about having to be 18 and above to write on HubPages. Check the TOS to avoid wasting your time.
No, it's 13 now, with parental/guardian permission.
He will need a PayPal account though, if he wants to get paid.
Thank you everyone! Theraggededge, do I rly think I write good?
You have promise Lots to learn but you're on the right track.
Your other article, however, looks as though it has been largely copied. It's in a different style and there are other articles on the web that look extremely close. Never ever, reproduce material written by others... even if you think you've rewritten it.
You're an up-coming writer. Improve and fine tone your writing skill.
No I wrote Vetoed completely myself. It might be a coincidence, but this article was original. I never copy.

I am working on an as yet unpublished (as of 12-30-2011) hub about Marquette, Michigan. I found some relevant photos online that allow commercial use, and I'll include the best of those in the hub. I also found some good, relevant photos that I can't use because the license says no commercial use,...

My very first hub on this page was instantly featured and started working really hard on my second article. However because it was on Interior Design, I had included a lot of external links and amazon product capsules which I have now edited or removed. https://discover.hubpages.com/living/5-...

I noticed today that one of my best articles (that really needs a rewrite) has been duplicated on a website called PetRadars.com. They copied everything from the title to the comments, though they left out the poll and all but one photo. They list on the bottom that they duplicated the article...

I have been reflecting recently on the direction that this site has taken, in particular the growing number of people who sign up and then ask 7 days or 14 days later when they will begin making money. Or they ask whether their CTR across 10 page views per day is good, or seek a magic formula for...
