   It's been 40 hours, and my visitor stats is still not updated. Maybe something is broken or so.

         AND...  I see below in a "related discussion" from 5 years ago it has happened before.
         
         I was in IT for 42 years.  We can know if this is a physical issue and they have to order hardware, or if it's a technical issue, but now that Mamerto and I have had the same experience "they" must be aware.
         
         It'll all come out in the wash.  :-)

            Oh, there's no telling.  At campus, we always experienced slowdowns at registration, semester ends, et al.  So, we expected them and things would soon return to normal. 
            
            By the time staff may recognize it's beyond normal, the time for a "timely notification" has passed and you're just looking for the issue.

         Agreed...but must include (spareware-my connotation).         You do know for sure if your machine, especially, a car tyre breaks down, the available of a spare tyre, makes the car laught at the roads again!                     Seriously, just looking at the issue with no spare part is a hoax!

   It's been a regular occurrence over the years. The stats say: "updated so many hours ago", then the metric switches to "so many days ago" - it's when it switches to weeks that you start to wonder what's happening. It's irritating for people like me who are addicted to checking their views all the time, but of no real consequence, in my experience.

   There seems to be some software problem at HubPages, because even my visitor stats are not updated for more than 48 hours. When is HubPages going to solve this problem?

      They are aware.  (Staff posted earlier in this thread).
      
      The best inquiring minds can figure out is that the wheel needs to be replaced and a trip to the pet store is in order.  Hardware and firmware.  Really, software I suppose - fuzzy and all.
