You do know they only change once a day? Or that sometimes that update is delayed?
It's generally best to wait until they've not updated for more than 24 hours before mentioning the lack of an update in this forum.
True. They do get delayed now and then.
However anyone has a choice to mention it OR not in the forum without waiting 24hrs. Nothing wrong with that IMO. No law broken here.
Really? I thought stats will frequently update and shows past 24 hours count as a rolling wheel.
The update to pay proper attention to is the one when the cash updates - on the basis that they've checked the numbers before they update the cash
The numbers can sometimes be a bit flaky inbetween cash updates
That's how it's supposed to work -- and over the past couple of months, the stat updates have actually been fairly well behaved -- but tics/jags/freezes like this were quite common in the recent past.
The hamster in the wheel that powers the view-counter must have died. Once they've finished training his successor things should return to normal.
Matthew Meyer may have left HP, as his name no longer appears on the HP staff list. If so - Good luck Matthew and thanks for your input. If not, Cheers anyway.
Yep, staff logo removed, http://hubpages.com/@matthewmeyer .
And thanks for the heads up, I have updated my HP "rumors" page accordingly. And in the process, I discovered he is not the only one. There were others; I made those updates as well. I shall not mention names nor how many. A grim time indeed. Certainly puts things in perspective.
I shall also spare the forums another one of my life-sucks rants, nor do a thread about it.
I realize you will probably never see this out-of-the-way post, but I wish those who have departed the best. And based on my own experiences, don't decide to just take the rest of the year off. Contrary to popular belief; you would be amazed how many people get non-seasonal, regular jobs during November-December.
Stats kick started - now working. Thanks and Cheers!
Update - spoke too soon - message says 2 hours ago but stats have not changed.

The stats have frozen again, and have not been updated for 12 hours (heading for the weekend). Earlier in the week they were stuck for 3 days. That means that the stats are only OK, twice a week - very disappointing! It has been getting worse lately. Please fix this HP staff. Thanks.

Looks like stats are frozen again. I noticed yesterday, despite views on hubs, the stats are not indicating such. Have you noticed this too?

We're doing a little work on the hub stats machine, updates will be delayed for about the next 5 hours or so.

My statistics page has not updated for 7 hours. Anybody else having this issue?

Is anyone elses hub ad earnings updates delayed?

There are three or four comments(one is at 24 hours so it may not count.) How could I have 0 page views if people are reading it and even stopping to comment?
