Here is my article: 8 Best Practices When Designing Your Qr Codes for Better Results! (must be signed in to view)
Hi there,
You have two numbered sections and they aren't very clear. Instead of numbering the first section, why don't you just use the sub-heading "Examples of How QR Codes Are Used". Note the correct capitalisation.
Instead of bold text to head up each point, use H3. Highlight the text, click on 'Paragraph' in the toolbar and the options will display.
The writing is a bit wordy with lots of passive voice. Try to zing it up a little. For example,
"UK based Fashion Retail Company, Lone Design, uses QR codes displayed on their window stores to allow shoppers to shop items while leveraging their whole experience anew."
Could be:
"You don't even have to enter the premises to buy that gorgeous top you've had your eye on. UK-based, Lone Design, displays QR codes as part of their window display so you can buy directly via your phone. Magic."
When writing an article, you have to connect with your reader. You aren't writing an essay. So imagine you are sitting with a friend in a coffee shop, explaining QR codes. Liven it up. Get a bit chatty. At the same time, don't overdo it - it still has to read well. Use plenty of real life examples.
Get rid of the links. Both of them. They aren't necessary. That QR code tiger one looks a bit dodgy. Is that your site? If so, know that you can't link from HP. The name at the bottom of the site is 'Vall'. Coincidence?
Your images need to be cited properly. If you took the photos then say so. Wherever you got the other images from, you must make sure you are allowed to use them. You can't just lift them from other websites.
You need to decide if you are here to write or if you are looking for a way to promote a business. If it is the second, then know that HubPages is the wrong platform.
