I presume this may be something to do with the ads issue and new format. My views were higher for Wednesday than Tuesday, but impressions were down 33%.

Most likely the absence of ads. Check out the source of your traffic, seems like the ad problem is mostly EU based.

CPM increased 50% though, so maybe the reported CPM for previous days was diluted by EU traffic?

My CPM is steady. If mine sky rockets in a day or two this could very well be the reason. SOunds plausible.

Mine's kinda the opposite: the views and impressions are down, but my CPM skyrocketed. Gonna have to analyze it again tomorrow in Analytics if it is still the same.

Seems the same for me. I'm getting *slightly* less traffic but earnings are *slightly* up.

      Wed 2nd Sep,    64    $456
      Tues 1st Sep, 4200    $4.91

Is this a glitch or a glimpse of the future of impressions and CPM?

        Those numbers seem weird, lol.

Ditto my experience since the niche site updates.
Massive drop in impressions, higher CPM and the earnings same as before.

I've never understood the "see-saw effect" of impressions and views and CPM. One goes up and the other goes down. Is it a case that a spike in views which occur on an article that displays ads that don't pay well pull down the overall CPM? I.e. the reported CPM is a post calculated average for the day?

The impression and CPM figures are well off in my reports. Hopefully the earned income figure is correct.

There was another post and I think it was Matt said that they were working on fixing the issue. Impressions and cpm are not right, but the earnings are correct. Not sure if we have to report it if we are experiencing this issue or not, since they are aware it is happening to some, but not everyone.

My impressions have been less than half of what they were previously, and bottomed out yesterday. My cpm has been steadily rising since the 28th and more than quadrupled yesterday. Earnings are basically the same.

24 hours after the Dengarden move, nothing out of the ordinary on my CPMs/impressions.

I was the person who mentioned in the other thread that Matt and the team were working on the issue with the impressions and the CPM. My problems began two weeks ago, right around the time of the HobbyLark migration. (Most of my articles are on HobbyLark.)

Soon after, I sent the team an email about the matter. Matt responded and requested that I send a screenshot of the stats. I did, but did not hear back from the team for about a week. I sent another email this week and an updated screenshot of the stats.

Here was Matt’s response on Wednesday:

“We are still working on this issue. I apologize for the delay. Your earnings are correct, just the stats are inaccurate.”
