Can I have more than one HP account?

    I noticed that though a certain person who was long active on HP is gone, an old ID of theirs still remains. It made me wonder, can we have two IDs each collecting earnings, on HP?

    Yes, you can have more than one account, though I believe you need a different email address for each one. Some people recommend that we don’t have two accounts, though, because it might be harder to reach the payout requirement. Combining all of our articles on a single account may make reaching payout easier.

      Thanks. I am thinking of writing on other topics, but believe that other topics won't work well alongside my usual topic matter.

        Gwenny, the majority of your readers will never visit your profile. I have a mix of articles and have never received any feedback that an eclectic variety is detrimental.

        However, the effort of maintaining two accounts and getting each to payout level may be overwhelming.

            What made me think that, is that when I posted the one poem I have live, my ratings took a nosedive, my CPM as well. Everything dropped. I thought that perhaps it was because I wrote something off of my usual beaten track.

    Hi, I also have a question. Is it allowed if two different accounts and two different authors use the same Paypal account? I told my niece about HubPages so, she could earn while studying in college. However, her age did not pass for bank requirements, only 18 years old and above are allowed to open a bank account, she is just 16. Thank you.

    Someone asked this same question the other day. One person responding said that to share a PayPal account contravenes PayPal's terms.
