I have noticed that some newcomers, who write poetry, are getting their Articles featured more quickly than those who write topical Articles. Is there a reason why this happens? Has other writers also noticed this and if so, any thoughts on why? I'm also wondering if Letter Pile is still valued.

Misbah, have you ever seen the movie "Office Space"?

If not, then go watch it and pay attention for the character Milton. If Letterpile were a character in "Office Space" then it would most definitely be Milton.

Also, the quality of poetry is subjective. Basically, you can say and do whatever you want in poetry and stories, it doesn't even need to make much sense, or any at all in some cases. Thus, what would be the point of seriously scrutinizing any of it for any period of time?

They ship it off to Milton so that it doesn't bung up the works.

        Well Kyler,
This was a fun way to answer
        Milton, is an interesting character
He is shy, unstable employee that stutters constantly
        Blessings

I gave up reading what was claimed to be "poetry" on Letterpile. I found most of it to be unintelligible verbiage.

Plus the system doesn't have delete comment. Amazing hahaha
You guys remind one of Socrates line " they create their poetry not by wisdom but by inspiration." and followed by, like prophets who say many fine things but understand nothing of what they say.
I really disagree( but who cares, right?)
To those who write poetry just to publish something, maybe YES! But for us who paint those words using our blood  our heart our soul and our emotions to a chaotic canvas totally not. Those who have the heart of poetry will get it. If you're not, well at least I hope you have wisdom- wisdom isn't an emotion. It is the quality of being wise. So I guess wise people don't have emotions hahaha
    May Socrates forgive me.
