I knows it's a bit of a morbid subject but it's going to come to us all one day :-( so which song would you choose to be played at your funeral?

Spirit In The Sky. I'm not a theist however it does capture the kind of attitude and atmosphere I envision at my funeral.

Added to which the confusion regarding the lyrics and my flamboyant atheism is very much in character.

    I'm quite erratic.

    Pilgrim's Song

    Man is lonely by birth,
Man is only a pilgrim on earth
Born to be king, time is but a temporary thing.
Only on loan while on earth.

Like the wind in the tree,
Man has been rather reckless and free,
Thrown far and wide, He longs to settle down beside,
    The stream flow through eternity.

Like the grass on the lawn,
He will pass by the way and be gone,
A lesson to learn, We walk but once, there's no return.
    Time is always moving on.

    Man is longing for One,
For a song and a place in the sun,
A home up above, Where everyday is lived in love.
For rest when the journey is done.

Devil is a Loser by Lordi

Yeah, I know it's Hard Rock
But I figure I may as well have one final attempt to get into God's good books...

23rd psalm - the Lord is my Shepherd.
I'm not religious in the slightest, but this hymn moves me. I suppose because it is always played at funerals in Scotland.
    Well, nearly always..

My Living will not be in Vain:  If I can help somebody as I travel on, If I can cheer somebody with a word, or song, If I can show somebody they are traveling wrong, them my living will not be in vain...
