I am new here. Been a week or so, I posted few articles.

It happens occasionally. I usually see the down-facing arrow after a spike in views.

You can't judge traffic by one week.  It will vary daily, weekly, monthly and yearly.  It's best to wait to see what the long term trends are.  Keep writing and don't stress about your traffic.  It's too soon.

It is like that for many of us. Only very good articles get some traffic. That is the reality with which we have to live.

      Yeah! No, Cool
The thing is I wanted to know that this is common and not only happening to me for some violation.
      Thanks for the reply though!

Yo can't get same traffic stream on every time. Try to spread your articles to other site (off page SEO), try backlink, spread them social media etc., improve articles and wait for the results. I think you will get your desired traffics by the time. Thank you.

If you are concerned about a red triangle, just wait until you get the Red Skull of Death!

Just kidding with you. The triangles aren't terribly important, just a crude way of indicating traffic going up and down, which it does all the time.

I have one article that gets weekly red and blue arrows.  Traffic falls 70% on the weekend, then picks right back up on Monday.

My guess is that construction workers (the targeted audience) do not like to work on job skills during the weekend.  Instead, it's Miller time!

    Hi,
Unless you have a huge following, this is not going to be a fast way to make money. I have been here about 10 months and have over 100 articles, and I do not make payout every month or even most of them.  It takes a long time. However, if you stick with it, you can make a few dollars, but the traffic is not going to magically come (well, maybe for some it does, or you might get an occasional article Google likes). Good luck. Most importantly, be here because you like to write.
