I feel there are times of the year traffic slows down.  Last year I earned nothing in the summer but this year I can actually say I earn money almost everyday.  Some summer days I've earn cents (speaking only of Adsense) but then there are days my revenue is over ten dollars.  I am so looking forward to the Fall and Winter months.
Above I speak of Adsense only.  I also earn revenue with Kontera, Infolinks, Chitika and Blogger.  Thank goodness I have several streams of income coming in.  This is a good thing.
Next summer should not hurt so bad.  The revenue can only increase daily.

I can't wait for the day that I can say this too.  I know all in due time.  It's working.  Up, up and away.  Another way to go.

In writing your hubs do you use keywords properly ? Good content and the use of keywords will help you generate more traffic.

I am seeing an increase in my traffic and I did pretty good this summer with clicks. The month of August has been a bit slow but still earning (nothing to rave about but still something). I am here 4 months and the traffic has increased each month, so hoping the more work I do and the longer I am around this may really pay off. I am just haing fun in the forums and writing so patience is on my list also.

Thumb, it takes time and patience.  Once in a while a niche hub will hit and get great traffic right from the start, but that is rare.

Most hubbers report that it takes months, not weeks, to see good results in the form of traffic.  I know it did me - it is only in month 3 that my traffic is really taking off (and even that is relative - compared to some mine is really anemic yet).

Patience, and keep writing.  It will happen.

August is my best month so far!  Traffic slowly rising, best Adsense month and improving Amazon sales!  I think it depends on your topics as to what time of year you do the best!  Just my opinion!

      Hello Randy,

I should put to practice writing about different topics to fit each season.  Very good point you make.

I've noticed many Hubbers wrote Hubs about Halloween.  I've viewed many Halloween Hubs and they are all excellent.  I'm sure the Hubbers will receive a whole lot of traffic from their work.

Yes Mx, it stands to reason seasonal hubs will not get the same amount of traffic all year.  I know some have already written their Christmas hubs in anticipation of making Amazon sales.

But just because you write seasonal hubs it doesn't mean you will be successful in garnering lots of traffic or clicks.  Lots of competition, naturally.
