What traffic? I thought the rest of the world died today!
I feel there are times of the year traffic slows down. Last year I earned nothing in the summer but this year I can actually say I earn money almost everyday. Some summer days I've earn cents (speaking only of Adsense) but then there are days my revenue is over ten dollars. I am so looking forward to the Fall and Winter months.
Above I speak of Adsense only. I also earn revenue with Kontera, Infolinks, Chitika and Blogger. Thank goodness I have several streams of income coming in. This is a good thing.
Next summer should not hurt so bad. The revenue can only increase daily.
I can't wait for the day that I can say this too. I know all in due time. It's working. Up, up and away. Another way to go.
i am more active in forum recently and answering more questions now, hopping all the day and sometimes leaving comments still i don't get traffic.my above 70 hubs are now down to 64-68 hub score. And people don't leave a comment when they visit my hub.my author score is not going up also.i recovered from 20 to 50 quickly but no more improvement in last couple of days.In additionI don't have ToS violated or substandard hub.

In writing your hubs do you use keywords properly ? Good content and the use of keywords will help you generate more traffic.
there are some very good e-books in the marketplace to help you improve your profit margins.. chicago consultant
Hmmmmmm still waiting for fickle traffic, it is improving steadily but not so great, I hang on and wait, need to do more work I guess!! Patience!! Patience!!!
I am seeing an increase in my traffic and I did pretty good this summer with clicks. The month of August has been a bit slow but still earning (nothing to rave about but still something). I am here 4 months and the traffic has increased each month, so hoping the more work I do and the longer I am around this may really pay off. I am just haing fun in the forums and writing so patience is on my list also.
i dont understand what I'm doing wrong. I followed the advice of several hubs..backlinked, chose decent keywords etc..
Thumb, it takes time and patience. Once in a while a niche hub will hit and get great traffic right from the start, but that is rare.
Most hubbers report that it takes months, not weeks, to see good results in the form of traffic. I know it did me - it is only in month 3 that my traffic is really taking off (and even that is relative - compared to some mine is really anemic yet).
Patience, and keep writing. It will happen.
August is my best month so far! Traffic slowly rising, best Adsense month and improving Amazon sales! I think it depends on your topics as to what time of year you do the best! Just my opinion!
Hello Randy,
I should put to practice writing about different topics to fit each season. Very good point you make.
I've noticed many Hubbers wrote Hubs about Halloween. I've viewed many Halloween Hubs and they are all excellent. I'm sure the Hubbers will receive a whole lot of traffic from their work.
Yes Mx, it stands to reason seasonal hubs will not get the same amount of traffic all year. I know some have already written their Christmas hubs in anticipation of making Amazon sales.
But just because you write seasonal hubs it doesn't mean you will be successful in garnering lots of traffic or clicks. Lots of competition, naturally.

Despite writing more hubs my traffic is has actually been getting worse and worse this month. Holiday season lows? Post holiday season people will be back to their computers. Of course the nice thing is that despite low traffic, I've been getting slightly higher click rates. Just curious if this is...

My HP traffic down since last three to four days and it's a matter of great concern for me. I have already written 50 hubs for the contest but still I am not seeing the traffic that I was seeing post google algorithm change. Is there anyone else who is facing the same problems. I have started...

I just wrote a Hub last week entitled "Adam Lambert Sexed for Success". It did quite well, in fact it receive over 1700 views in less than a week. (that's good for me, anyway). My overall ranking on hubpages as of this morning was 96. The article was ranked anywhere from 87 - 93 and the...

The chart above (made easily with Excel: check the tools menu / analysis) gives the distribution of daily earnings. Most of days daily earnings is about 0.45.As you can see, it doesn't follow the famous Normal Law in probability ... which is normal : normal law is not obligatory in the real world

I read the section on the HubScore under the FAQs but I still have a question. If a HubScore is going up, does that mean that individual hub is getting some traffic? Thanks!!
