I have been trying to use the creative Commons licensing to import photo to one of my articles, the problem is that it doesn't go through, it tells me that the site might be blocking hubpages from accessing the photo. Have you experienced this? How else can I access photos that are not restricted by copyright?

You can only upload photos from your computer/device. So you need to save them first. I do it as I edit the article so that I can credit the source as I'm uploading the photos.

Ok. I followed this approach of uploading from the device storage, on the part of crediting the source, I couldn't write because it was inactive, I don't know whether that part is not supported by my phone...

You misunderstand. You upload the photo from your computer/phone. Then you add the necessary text and link manually. You have to type it in.

Perhaps you don't know that HubPages allows the functionality to upload images via url link.

This is the section that you write to credit the source. I know I need to write here but when I click in the space in order to write, the cursor does not show and there I can't write. That's what I meant

You need to post in the Technical forum or contact the staff (click Help, top right).

Constant Juma, if you will do it with any other device other than mobile. You will be able to do it.
It happens to me as well sometimes when I use mobile. Try using any other browser on mobile or if it is possible use another device.
You can also try the feature in the mobile browser that says" View as Desktop site". It helps me sometimes.
I hope it will help you.
