OK, I like a compliment just as much as anyone else. But, when a Newbie says that my photo of myself is CUTE? Well, it did make me laugh, but a man in his seventies with a face full of well deserved wrinkles is not Cute, by anyone. Well Preserved maybe, but not Cute.
I laughed a lot, and then I moved on, but I started thinking about the wide variety of people who are trying to figure out a way to make money on HP, and I know that many of them will try anything to get a View of the stuff they write. So, I either have to allow myself to be considered "Cute" or pretend to be a senile old man who has fallen in love and offer to sent them a Money Order? It just makes me laugh, and I wanted to share this one with my fellow Hubbers.
    Have a Great Day,

I was thinking the other day how the fan mail box, when you chose to follow someone on here, had those check boxes and one of those options was "cute". I don't think they're there anymore.

Us oldies don't often get called "cute", but I guess you should treat it as a compliment, Don. Unless you start getting emails asking for money. smile

I suspect there is such an email floating towards me on the wind of HP. LOL!

Okay, Don we don't see any wrickle on your face in either the big or small picture. Point is your smiles dissolve those wrinckles.                                     You're still glowing with life and happiness.

Sir, I would say, take it as a compliment. I won't say I can't see wrinkles on your face in the photo because I can see them but yes in your profile picture you are wearing glasses so maybe they are not visible enough.

Still consider those wrinkles as cute they are on perfect places
    Blessings

Such non-serious people on hubpages are distracting. They consider this place to be like a Facebook platform. Just avoid them.

Sanjay - Our world of article writing and the subsequent submission for others to see, gives an opening for them to read your sweat covered works, but we have no button that flips up a sign that tells them not to comment.

It could also be a simple case of word misuse. In German for example you could say suß which is sweet (also in the sense of being kind) and cute. So I would not be surprised if the person was just trying to say that you were kind, maybe in a comment on the forum?

Or, maybe they just found you cute big_smile

Don, I've pass 65 and into my 70's.                                As usual and normal of me, I had my morning exercise today, had a cool bath, and breakfasted.                              Here's what I eat: dices fresh African potatoes(80 g), 3 g each of sweet basil, garlic, ginger, 1/2 a teaspoonful of dried chili plus pinch of salt. Boiled for 7 minutes with a little fresh running water. This I wash down with a cup of black tea plus milk.                                          I'm getting into old age? Nope. Seeing me many say I'm not yet 50.                                                       Don, I like what Labo and the others said. You're sweet, kind(being an old man)? Lol! And so cute!
