    Hi Hubbers,

I'd like some help with passing the Quality Assessment Process. Will you please give feedback on my article? What can I do to improve? Thanks!
Here is my article: What You Don't Know About The Most Misunderstood Dog

I understand your intention in devoting most of the article to an unidentified misunderstood dog species and its good qualities, and then revealing it to be the pit bull, but I think this makes your article too ambiguous and unfocused. It's about pit bulls so that should be in your title and opening paragraph. I recommend a re-write.

For example: "Pit Bulls - The Most Misunderstood Dog Breed.

Pit bulls have a reputation for being vicious and dangerous, but ..."

The surprise reveal in the middle of the article does not make the read worthwhile. People generally are not going to be searching the term "most misunderstood dog."

      Hope this helps.

      Hi there,

This might sound a bit harsh, but please give my critique some thought.

You haven't mentioned the breed in the title or the introduction. Therefore, search engines will not serve up your article for the keyword, 'pit bull'.

You must attribute the images correctly, even if they are yours: https://hubpageshelp.com/content/Learni … -image-use

Nipper wasn't a Pit Bull, he was probably a Jack Russell cross. Notice the 'contradictory' notice in the Wiki article.

Your call-out capsule lists several breeds; this doesn't fit with 'this breed' that you mention throughout.

A Pit Bull is not a Staffie, although a Staffie can come under the terminology of 'pit bull'. 'Pit Bull' covers several similar breeds, whereas a pure bred Staffie is an originally British dog with its own specific breed standard.

It's a bit like: all ponies are horses but not all horses are ponies.

I agree training is everything, yet it is also true that a high number of attacks on children and adults have been by dogs of the pit bull persuasion. It's understandable why people are wary. Perhaps you need to include more information about it? Perhaps add a training video?

What 'amazing' information have you provided that can't be found on the Pit Bull Wiki page?

      https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pit_bull

Remember your readers will come via search engines and your article has to compete with the likes of Wikipedia for traffic. So you can't just recycle readily available information - you have to do it better.

I like your personal stories about your own dogs, perhaps you could expand on them, or include some experiences of other people who have adopted dogs? Also, touching on training specific to the breed would be a useful addition.

      Good luck.

Bodyleviv, I don't own a dog, nor I am a dog breeder. But I had a keen interest in read about dogs.                                                            This article seems to be write in improper or sub-standard English. You need to fine-tune the language structure as far as understanding is concern. Thanks.

Miebakagh57 - I can tolerate constructive criticism but you need to learn proper English before you tell me what is improper after reading your above post.

Bodylevive, don't the others offer the 'constructive criticism'?                                       While you go ahead and fine tune your dog article.                                          Reading is an interest I've cultivated over the years. It's my opium. I'm always at my elements reading(do I mispell in my head or eyes?) good and interesting stuff.                                   Just go ahead. Rewrite the dog stuff to pass  QAP and give me something to read. Much thanks.
