      Dammit. Mine's down, too.

Do these updates stall the system somehow? Do actual traffic stats during the updates pick back up once the stall/downtime is restored?

Seems to have picked up again since midnight though.

That's encouraging. I'll check again tomorrow. Time for bed. Gotta work tomorrow.

Also, I write about supplements and health, and noticed the usual sites are not ranking above five.

Normally, my traffic peaks in May and then gently tapers off throughout the summer and fall.  Thanks to Google's changes, my traffic fell off a cliff in June.  I'm looking at numbers that I don't normally see until the fall.

Oh boy, here we go again! This rollercoaster is going to continue into August, according to SERoundtable!

It seems that all the updates since the late May one have been generally detrimental to the site. The core one was maybe the worst. Looking at the traffic on SEMRush, pretty much all the niches have seen a decline. It's early days though, plenty of time for recovery.

I can see traffic inching up. Slowly.

That's goodnews, especially for those that experience the down side earlier.

My traffic is up a little over 2% from where it was yesterday, but still a big drop.
