I received an email from Hubpages rejecting an article with the words RELATABLE CONTENT??? I am at a loss as to what to edit?
https://hubpages.com/hub/The-Stanley-Cu … ca?hubview
I would appreciate the help.
I've gotten the same email. I don't get it. They are claiming the article must be super special to me but not anyone else. Well, I wrote it for the audience, not me. It's not all that precious to me, I just knew there was interest out there and I have expertise on the subject.
Sorry, that was more of a rant than help.
This article has some good tips. "The 15 Golden Rules for Creating Relatable Content" (remove the gap before frank in the URL)
Hi, Fran. You could add a paragraph at the beginning describing why the cup is so significant before describing its early history. You need to convince people of its importance as soon as they start reading the article, even if they don't like hockey.
Adding references for the information and sources for the images to show that they have a suitable license might be helpful as well.
Good luck with getting the article switched.
Alicia, thank you for your suggestions, and I will edit right away. Thanks again.
I read your article and did not find any issue with it, but I will add that most Hub selections for the niche sites is arbitrary and not objective but subjective.

Hi all,Thanks in advance for any help.I submitted my first piece yesterday. It was rejected with feedback that was very broad - either not up to standard or spammy. I thought it might be because I had included an Amazon capsule so I removed that, but left the writing as it was and resubmitted the...
