Is Opera News a newscast? I just feel weird because ... a reporter or journalist plagiarized?
I am not able to find the site where your stolen article appears. What is url?

They've even posted it under someone else's byline.
I've Tweeted at Opera. Being called out in public often resolves the problem straight away.
Though looking carefully, I don't think this is Opera the browser so I deleted it.
Here you go, file a DMCA: https://opera.news/contact
Bev, that's being well noted. I think that can also put the plagiarists to shame? But why do some persons like to plagiarize another person work? These days, every one has access to an Englssh class or story telling lesson(even free online). Still wondering.
Eric, sorry for the theft. But as fellow writers here has advice, file a DMCA.
It is not a traditional news site. It looked more like a Buzzfeed style site. It's based out of Africa and they have a bunch of sub url's. Mine was ng dot opera dot news.
I had an article copied by them recently too. I filed a DMCA and it was taken down same day. They were very easy to work with.
I emailed Opera News. They said that they can't delete the plagiarized article because it is under Daily Advent not on their organization. I have emailed the Daily Advent too. Thank you for your comments..
Just submit a DMCA. Repeat, if necessary. They are carrying the article, therefore they have to remove it. Tell them you will be contacting their webhost.
Yes, I have submitted DMCA twice, also to Google and Bing. Thanks
An article I wrote in 2014 on Seekyt was copied and posted by another writer. It is still there under her name, but without my photos. I mentioned it on Seekyt's Twitter page, but no response. I also mentioned it on FB and Instagram. I can't seem to get it removed. Good luck with yours.
Maria, it seems you had not file a DMCA against the culprit, right?

I received notice of a plagiarized article on Tumblr and found another one myself. I filled out a DMCA complaint but was unable to submit it to Tumblr. I don't know why I couldn't send it. I have no e-mail for the offending "author." What do I do now?

There are about 8 or so copied hubs symbols on my account this morning. Upon following one of the links I found my hub but it was spun. You can tell it's my hub but they used a software to change some of the words. How do file the DCMA for that? Can someone from staff help me please? Also, how the...

An abandoned Canadian family services site plagiarized one of my articles. It's odd because the site's contact info is all obsolete. I have asked their host to take it down, and am waiting to see how that goes. Grumble grumble...I am sure that some never get their stuff taken down. Does that have...

I have a long list of plagiarized articles. Has anyone filed a DMCA complaint? What was the process like? Did you find it successful? Did you notice any changes in views?

The site is w w w. car article. net/Found one (so far) of mine. Have already filed DMCA. I suspect the whole site is nothing but stolen car articles. And they've got AdSense ads.
