   Today is November 11, 2021. It is Veterans day for the men and women serving in the United States army, navy, and  airforce. And, those that served in the two great wars living and dead.       Some Nigerians who holds a USA citizenship are also serving therein.   Wishing them a happy veteran day celebration!

   It is a special day, indeed. My father taught my sisters and I a great love for those who chose to serve in the wars that have confronted our nation. He fought proudly and we pause today to thank him and the many others who did so

   As a veteran, this is a nostalgic moment and I am happy but this veterans day is a bit sad as the veterans realize they have been done in and accept defeat in Afghanistan by a civil leadership that never had the guts to listen to the military. Only if the leadership had given the go-ahead to attack the sanctuaries across the border, it would have been a different tale.

It's good to know that here.                                                     And, I wholly agree with you that it's a sad tale these days for a veteran like you and others.                                  Seriously, accursing fingers were directed at that old man in the Oval Office for engineering the disgrace.                                   Had Trump be here, it would have been a happier veterans day.                                            Happy veterans day to you and yours!

   On behalf of myself as a veteran and all those I served with, we thank you for your recognition.  Military service is not easy, and can be very dangerous.  It is nice to have your efforts recognized.

      Readmikenow, glad to note you're one among the many vaterans.                                       Yes, agreed army life can be hard due to warfare and other emergency tasks during peace time. But soldiering can also be interesting.                                    Happy veterans day to you!
