    Hello there!

I am a little confused with the above.

I read that in order to sign up for Amazon Earnings Program, I just need to set up my account and enable it.

However, I am a little perplex, as I do not think I see Amazon Ads on my articles. In addition, I found Amazon link capsules to insert while I am writing an article.

May I check with all experienced mates, if signing up with Amazon Earnings is as easy and direct as what it is? Or do I need further steps to take?

    Thank you!

    Susin.

    Hi Susan,

You have to add Amazon links and capsules manually. And you can only add them if the item is necessary to the topic of the article. You have to show that you are familiar with the product and can recommend it to your readers. In-line links work better than capsules, I find.

Here's how you do it. Write a section or paragraph about the product. Highlight the name of it and click on the link (chain) icon in the text capsule toolbar. Click on the Amazon tab. Find the product, click it, then Save.

    The capsules are self-explanatory.

Oh I see! Thank you! Does it mean that I have to be a user of the products I recommend on the Amazon links then?

Yes, you have to write about your experience using the products that you are recommending.  For instance, I write about gardening. When I put a link to Amazon for seeds, I mention in my article why I grow that flower or vegetable rather than another variety of the same thing.

Susin, All the answers above are correct, but your first question might still be unclear. You don’t need to set up an account with Amazon. You just need to enable the Amazon Earnings Program in your HubPages account. Hope that clarifies that issue.

I don't put Amazon link on my articles and I'm yet to do so.

Now, I get a better picture of the stuff.

I'll see what I like and what I can order, and that related to any of my writes from the mail order business owned by BOSS Jeff.

You guys and gals are truly nice and helpful.

    Stay safe and healthy.
