I have three big accounts and they are a big pain in the you know what. I have this pipe dream that someday HubPages might allow account consolidation so I can migrate everything into one account. Probably this one.
It isn't a payout issue. All of them hit payout without a problem. It is more of a housekeeping issue. And a communication issue, because I don't think editors always know who I am between my different accounts.
Maybe HP could allow a one-time account consolidation period. This was unheard of in the past, so again it is kind of a dream. Maybe open it up to people with a certain number of articles on their accounts or something.
It would be a little work for staff, so there would have to be a clear benefit to HP. Those I can see are:
~ Simplified record keeping and accounting
~ Less outstanding debt (to writers)
~ Better communication between writers and editors
~ Reduced clutter on HP (fewer accounts overall)
~ Clean up niche sites (fewer noindex profile pages)
Is this something that would be interesting to anyone else, and if so can you think of any more ways it would benefit HubPages, not just the writers?
I know this is unlikely. I guess I am feeling optimistic on a Saturday morning.
I thought about emailing and asking them if I could do some consolidation at one point. I regretted not merging my two Squidoo accounts with HP for one thing.
I've got used to having multiple accounts now to some extent.
My dream now is ten accounts, each with about 50 hubs, that all pay out with substantial amounts every month! I'm a long way off that though! haha!

As a long time user that has created tens of thousand of dollars income for you, I wish to express my dis-satisfaction with the soon-to-be-implemented Amazon referral changes, and ask that I be given the choice rather than be forced to comply with a substantial change to our agreement. I sucked it...

At HubPages, do writers have to have an account with AdSense for Google ads to appear on their hubs, or do they appear because HubPages has its own account with Google AdSense? I ask because I have Google ads on my one hub, but I have no individual AdSense account yet. I appreciate your help,...

1. Change ad placements so they don't interrupt the text. Place ads to one or either side of the text.2. Get rid of Recommended For You ads currently at the bottom of articles. They are undermining the whole site.3. Encourage more transparent dialogue between writers and the HP team. Exchange of...

This probably is one of the worse days of my life, after so much effort I have put online, here I stand with my Adsense account disabled due to invalid click activity. I don't have any clue why this happened! I have been here at Hubpages for more than 3 years and make more than 90% of my earning...

I don’t want to make too big a deal of this. My interactions with editors over the past few years have been very positive and I appreciate their work. There are some excellent people on the HP editorial staff today. However, I think there is always room for improvement, suggestions, and constructive...
