How do we know which article is fetching how much money? And which type of articles fetch more?
There is no easy or exact way to know.
Although with experience and knowledge, you can sometimes make a reasonable guess.
Ohk! That's a bit inconvenient. It's better to have some guideline about it. I ain't good at guessing or gambling. lol
Well, as far as which ones earn more, it's generally the ones that get the most traffic.
The day I got the maximum traffic, was the day I got least for. I'm tripping.
I mean the articles which consistently attract the highest traffic.
You can click the daily/weekly/monthly/all-time tabs at the top of your stats page and they will sort into order.
That's what I do almost 5 times a day to check the update. Still can't figure out the correlation between views and earnings or length of the article for that matter.
If people knew this they would write more such articles.
However, I think using a keyword planner tool like Google Keyword planner or SemRush can give you an idea of such keywords.

Because of the way we have rolled out Article Q&A on a site-by-site basis, there are some network sites that have substantially more questions with their own URLs than others. Rest assured, we haven’t seen any direct correlation between changes in traffic and the ratio of questions on a site....

Recently, I've learned that "The Big G" considers comments as content, this being the reason HP is going in to edit comments for proper spelling & grammar. Also, along these lines, I've seen it said in these forum posts, that because it's content, comments that are very short...
