I'm frequently getting referred from duckduckgo.com. It seems like a search engine which I'm unaware about.

Can someone please shed some light on it?

Yes, duckduckgo is quite a popular search engine. Supposedly much less invasive than the likes of Google, though I have never used it.

Ohk. I was aware about Bing and Yahoo but this is kind of new for me.

It's the fourth most popular search engine in the US with 2.33% of the market. But that's almost nothing compared to Google's 87%. The big G dominates in the US.

I saw it earlier as it's not the first time I have seen it in referres, but I felt like it was a spam. I guess I will have to change my perspective and study more about it.

I use DDG as my main search engine. I dislike Google. And for some reason it won't load in my Vivaldi browser.

I wish other search engines would acquire more market shares. Google's market domination isn't a good thing for bloggers and writers.

Their constant algorithm updates make sure of that!

Okay...though I'm aware of duck-duck-go as a search engine, I'm not in the know of how impressive it can go.                                        Seriously, I'm some how tired of all the old generation search engines, and browsers. Opera, is my exception.                         Critically, I'm going to give ddg and the other new generation search engines and browsers a try. Any advise?

Seems like I'll have to study more about it.

I'm doing some study. Noted that a VPN could go well with it. Have you got something to share along the line? Thank you.

Not yet, as I'm working on another project for a company. A couple more days to go, after which I'll be able to do some digging on this.

Okay. I'm still digging on duck-duck-go. Seems we will share information about or around the same.

Alot of people us it because it doesn't follow you.
